    I came here because I saw it on tiktok. The claims were that they were better than Howlin Rays. While they aren't better, they sure hold up. I love spicy flavors and the ghost pepper was delicious! The loaded fries were great and of course I got extra comeback sauce. I ordered a medium chicken sandwich, spicy loaded fries, and ghost pepper tenders. I like to try out the variation in spice at chicken places because you never know another place's spice level. The medium was just that. A cayenne medium that tastes good. The fries were amazing and the perfect level of spice. Though the heat built up, it tasted very balanced with the slaw and comeback sauce. The ghost pepper tenders were my favorite. I've never had a place let ghost peppers shine while not spicing out the flavor. It was both spicy and tasty! The service was really slow. That was the biggest downside. Unfortunately the people who ordered in front of me, made a huge order and so I had to wait almost 30 minutes for 3 items. The inside is small and they need to wipe down the tables. I wouldn't mind coming back since it is closer to me than Howlin. I hope the service is faster next time though! If the service was faster, this place would be near perfect.

    Bred Hot Chicken is a great option for the chicken tender lovers. Located at the Lab in Costa Mesa, you can't miss this place as it's located right as you enter it on Bristol street. You can order nuggets, strips or sandwiches here along with sides and sauces. I believe every order comes with pickles, sauce and toast but the fries you will have to add on on. I had ordered a 3 piece chicken strip Mild spice level. The spiciness is pretty good with milk as well so if you're sensitive maybe get nothing on it. The chicken itself was nice and juicy and had a nice flavor on the batter itself. The fries were good too, and the pickles adds a nice touch to the saltiness and spiciness of the chicken. The toast was just a toast, bland but did the job. Maybe some seasoned butter or something would work but it's not a big deal. Inside seating area is nice as it gives you a view of the outside. You simply order at a kiosk and they call your order when ready. A nice option for all the chicken tender lovers!

    The food is great and extremely delicious. I bought the chicken sandwich, tenders and the fries all of which were scrumptious! However, it was a bit on the pricier side..... The service was good, no issues with that. They were able to answer all my questions without any issues. The setting of the place however can be improved on. It is located in a small plaza-ish area? The parking can be difficult to get into but the food is definitely worth your time and money. I'll definitely come back again but unfortunately won't be able to go too often due to the prices.

    Another great chicken place! Ive been looking for some good chicken places and I'm glad I decided to try this spot out! I ordered the juicy tenders mild heat from Grubhub which came with three tenders, fries, and bread. The chicken was so juicy and the spice was just the right amount that was not too overwhelming. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. And the sauce! I think next time I'll order another side of sauce because it complemented the meal so well. I will be back!
